Starting a business? Thinking about it? Trying to grow an existing business?

A business plan is the major key to success for a small business.
This college credit course, offered through Dakota County Technical College, will take you through the entire process of creating your actual business plan. This plan is a must for securing financing from a lending institution for your business.

       

      In this course you will:

  • Create a vision for your company
  • Clearly define your product/service
  • Understand the entire sales process of your product/service
  • Define your target demographic (customers)
  • Create a marketing plan for your company
  • Create a sales plan for your company
  • Understand the financial concepts of running a business
  • Prepare Financials on your company
  • Learn how to protect the assets of your company

Instructor Bob Voss has been teaching Business Entrepreneur classes at Dakota County Technical College for 5 years. He is also a counselor at the Small Business Development Center, which offers free professional consulting to small business owners and entrepreneurs. Bob, who hosts the "Be Your Own Boss" workshops in the training center, is an energetic and engaging instructor who has won national and local teaching awards and has extensive experience owning and managing small businesses.
